高剑父(1879-1951)， 中国近现代国画家、美术教育家、岭南画派创始人之一。汉族广府人，名仑，字剑父。与陈树人、高奇峰一起致力于中国画改革，后人称岭南画派。

高剑父既擅长写意 ，也能画工笔。于山水、人物、翎毛、花卉以至草虫禽兽，无所不能。他大胆融合了传统绘画多种技法，又借鉴了日本画、西洋画，重视透视和立体感、设色大胆等表现技法，并注重写生，从而创立了自己的新风格。

高剑父的作品 , 在表现物体形象和质感时主要用色彩和水墨来渲染 , 而较少用线条 。他追求绘画的经营位置，随类附彩，并结合西洋绘画的特色，注意画面中透视、光影以及空间的表现，给人一 种幽雅柔美的感受。其山水画气势磅礴，笔法有近似马远、夏圭一体，横砍竖劈, 千笔飞白，于秀逸中见刚劲，有时作没骨法，天色、水光和云雾用水墨渲染，用笔泼辣，墨卷波涛，笔缩云烟，诗意盎然。所画人物、花鸟表现手法不拘一格。所作水墨花鸟，放纵似徐渭。人物又似梁楷一体“ 减笔 ”方法，着墨敷彩不多，寥寥数笔，生动传神。
